About

Nicole is a London based visual artist who works mainly with experimental photographic processes. Her practice is difficult to define, sitting somewhere between painting, printmaking and photography. Her work explores forms of abstraction using a variety of unconventional materials and techniques and seeks to challenge traditional forms of representation within the discipline of photography. She is particularly interested in sustainable photographic methodologies and makes her own plant based developer from food waste. She recently graduated from the Royal College of Art with an MA in Photography and has been shortlisted for this year’s Hari Art Prize.
